my story

Hello! I am a recent graduate of North Dakota State University receiving my Master’s of Architecture as well as my Bachelor’s of Environmental Design. I was born in Fargo, ND but grew up in Shakopee, MN just south of downtown Minneapolis. My family of six includes my Mother, Father, one younger Sister, and two very fluffy, four-legged little brothers called Buddy and Joey.

I was first drawn to architecture with my love of art. I have been an active painter and drawer for many years but recently took a break to redirect my artistic imagination into my school work for the last five years. My curiosity has lead me to take up many hobbies and interests and I enjoy delving into just about anything. Some of my interests include photography, sewing, reading, film, music and cooking. My most recent uptake is repurposing old items to furniture or decorative pieces preserving the characteristics and story of the pieces.

Now that I have graduated I am excited to settle into a new life and start my future career. With time I will be able work hard to achieve my future goals and define myself as a person as I continue to learn my trade and who I am.
